RF Based Hotel Ordering Menu Card System Projects

RF Based Hotel Ordering Menu Card System Projects

In today’s world  number of restaurants is increasing. They also require very fast processing for serving food to the customers. Many times in hotel we have to wait for a waiter to give our order for food. This creates problem when there is rush in hotel especially in festival seasons and generally on weekends. With the increasing number of customers, it would require more man power, since the current situation has become hectic for the restaurants. Also changes in the hardcopy of the menu can’t happen
n order to solve these problem, here we had design a simple automation system called RF based hotel ordering menu card system which consists of a transmitter and a receiver section this system provides wireless communication using an electronic menu card provided on each table. We can select the items through matrix keypad provided. This order details are collected by wireless receiver placed in the kitchen and will display the items in its display. So the kitchen people can supply those items to the customer after preparing it.

in this project
Transmitter section is used for ordering from the menu. An electronic card is provided on each table. 8051 Microcontroller displays the food items on the LCD screen with their prices. The customer can select the items and send the items order by using key. Microcontroller then reads data from the keypad and gives corresponding digital output to an encoder. It encodes one of the active inputs to a coded binary output. RF transmitter transmits this coded binary output from the encoder.
At The receiver section is placed in the kitchen, it consists of an RF receiver. RF receiver receives the coded binary data transmitted by the RF transmitter and given to the RF decoder. RF decoder decodes the input and gives four bit digital data to the PC only if the address bit of encoder and decoder matches. Software is installed in computer to display the selected items.
The RF module operates at Radio Frequency and signals through RF can travel through larger distances making it suitable for long range applications and the RF signals can travel even when there is an obstruction between transmitter & receiver.

Traffic Controller Based On Density With RF Remote Override

Traffic Controller Based On Density With RF Remote Override

Traffic congestion is a severe problem in many major cities across the world and it has become nightmare for the commuters in these cities. Conventional traffic light system is based on fixed time concept allotted to each side of the junction which cannot be varied as per varying traffic density Junction timings allotted are fixed. Due to the heavy traffic in the road many people are suffering and also because of large time delays between traffic lights which will also impact on any emergency service vehicle like ambulance, fire bridged.
So, in order to rectify this problem, we will go for Traffic Controller Based on Density with RF Remote Override designed to identify the traffic on road is low/medium or high with help of IR sensors and develop density based dynamic traffic signal system where the signal timing changes automatically on sensing the traffic density at the junction. And provides efficient solution by using remote override feature to give green signal on particular road in case of any emergency.
Block diagram:-

In this system, we will use IR sensors to measure the traffic density which are interfaced to the microcontroller. We have to arrange the RF transmitter and RF receiver for each road in particular manner then IR transmitter is continuously sends signals to IR receiver if any object is found between them then this signal will send to the microcontroller then according to the traffic density microcontroller will controls the traffic signal system.
If the traffic density is high or low on one way then the system will analyses the traffic and according to that it will increased or decreased the time of signal lights. Which will help to reduce the traffic jam problems and suppose if any case there is emergency cased is happened then that time we control the traffic using remote override feature and allowed to pass the emergency vehicle?

Geo Location Tourist guide Using RF

Geo Location Tourist guide Using RF

In national parks or any other public place where huge tourist attractions so on there we need directional guides to inform tourist about his location and the area. To solve this problem we make Wireless  system that which guidance tourist using RF technology that works wirelessly to guide tourist about his current location. This proves as a very handy and convenient medium for guiding tourists through the park. This system proposes to replace also the boards which mounted through such parks. System uses an RF receiver circuit in order to track user. The user may carry the circuit with him. It then consists of RF transmitters placed at various locations across the park. These  transmitters RF signals. When the  RF  receiver it detects that the user is in range of that particular RF  transmitter. This signals it to display the location of the tourist. Each location area is identified uniquely by RF transmitter module. When user enters in to that area then at receiver side its  displays the information about that place on an LCD screen.

RF Based Home Automation System using 8051 Based Microcontroller

RF Based Home Automation System using 8051 Based Microcontroller

In today’s highly developing world most of  peoples wantstheir homes areautomated as per increased level of affordability, simplicity  and comfort through the integration of home appliances with smart phone and tablet connectivity.Home Automation system that controls various home appliances such as a fan, bulb, AC, TVetc. with RF remote controller..
So here we introduce Home automation system which is developed to automate the use of conventional lighting mechanism (wall switches)in house by using RF controlled remote that sends ON/OFF signals to microcontroller.

Block diagram:-

The system is mainly based on RF modules is the combination of RF transmitter and RF receiver which used as remote to controlled the system. So user can simply give the commands through the RF remote which are received by RF transmitter then it will sends to the microcontroller and then microcontroller will handle the particular load.
The micro controller is programmed in a way that whenever the command is given through the RF remote for driving the appliances on and off, it communicates with the relay circuit. Suppose if u want ON the load 1 then you simply press the button 1 on RF remote then this signal will received by transmitter and send to microcontroller then it will ON the load 1 and massage will be displaying on LCD.
