Ultrasonic Distance Measurement HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor Based On 8051 Microcontroller

Ultrasonic Distance Measurement HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor Based On 8051 Microcontroller

If u want to measuring a distance usually we are using measuring tape or another tools but this kind of tools having limitations and manuals error and there are many industry where we need to measure a particular distance from object. There areseveral ways to measure distance without human contact like infrared ray, radar, laser but they are very expensive, hence the ultrasound waves can be used for applications in industries/vehicles without hindering human activity.
So here we introduce Ultrasonic distance measuring system which measures the distance of any object by using an ultrasonic module comprising of a transmitter and receiver interfaced to a microcontroller. To get distance of object from current position

Block diagram:-

Block Diagram of Ultrasonic Distance Measurement HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor Based On 8051 Microcontroller

In the system we used ultrasonic sensors to measure sensors by using pulse echo and phase measurement method and an ultrasonic module is interfaced to the microcontroller, and an ultrasonic transducer comprising of a transmitter and receiver  and it will transmitted the waves.
If any object is comes under the range that we are set to the transducer then the transmitted waves are reflected back from the object and received by the transducer. The total time taken from sending the waves to the receiving end is calculated by taking into consideration the velocity of the sound. Then, the distance is calculated by a program running on the microcontroller and displayed on an LCD screen interfaced to the microcontroller.

Ultrasonic Distance Indicator On Lcd Display Using  HC-SR04 8051 Based

If u want to measuring a distance usually we are using measuring tape or another tools but this kind of tools having limitations and manuals error and there are many places like in vehicles where we need to detect a particular distance to prevent from any accident. There areseveral ways to measure distance without human contact like infrared ray, radar, laser but they are very expensive, hence the ultrasound waves can be used for applications in industries/vehicles without hindering human activity
So here we introduce Ultrasonic distance indicating system  which detects any object ahead of the ultrasonic transducer by using an emitter for sending 40 kHz sound wave; and a detector that detects this 40 kHz sound wave and sends the signal back to the microcontroller. Which use in reverse car parking to avoid damage of car

Ultrasonic Based Radar System Project

Ultrasonic Based Radar System Project Using 8051

We come across situations where we need to keep a watch over prohibited areas to avoid trespassing. Now keeping human labor for this purpose is costly and also not reliable for keeping a watch over an area 24×7. So for this purpose ultrasonic radar project for unauthorized human / animal or object detection system. The system can monitor an area of limited range and alerts authorities with a buzzer as an alarm. For this purpose we use a microcontroller circuit that is connected to a ultrasonic sensor mounted on a servo motor for monitoring.
We also interface a buzzer and LCD screen for monitoring the detection status. The radar keeps monitoring the environment checking the ultrasonic sensor echo. As soon as an object is detected the data of detection is processed and sent to authorities with an alert of where exactly the object was detected. Thus ultrasonic radar proves to be a very useful system for 24×7 monitoring of a particular area/region.

Block Diagram :-

Ultrasonic Radar system Project Ultrasonic Module acts as an input device and servo motor acts as an output device and servo motor is rotated at 180 degree by the microcontroller. Ultrasonic radar System ultrasonic sensor detect any object in the range it detects it and send the data to the microcontroller.
The microcontroller then process the data and decide whether it is range of 25 cm as we have kept the distance of 25cm for this project that any object in the distance of 25cm will be shown in the LCD . And if the object is in the range the message will be shown in the LCD with the accurate distance of the object with the angle in which the object is there and the message will be displayed on the LCD and servo motor is use to rotate the radar at 180 clockwise anticlockwise simultaneously the buzzer starts ringing with flashing the red light as sign that the object is been detected.

Ultrasonic Based Blind walking stick Projects

Ultrasonic Based Blind walking stick

Blind stick is an important for visually disabled people for navigation. Here an advanced blind stick that allows visually challenged people to navigate with ease using advanced technology. The blind stick is integrated with ultrasonic sensor along with light and water sensing. Ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles ahead using ultrasonic sensor. On sensing obstacles the sensor passes this data to the microcontroller.
The microcontroller then processes this data and calculates if the obstacle is close enough or not. If the obstacle is not that close the circuit does nothing. If the obstacle is close then microcontroller sends a signal to sound a buzzer and vibration feedback. Also if it detects water and alerts the blind with same feedback with different frequency. One more feature is that it allows the blind to detect if there is light or darkness in the room. also help the blind people to find their stick if they forget where kept it. Then A wireless RF remote is used for this purpose. Pressing the remote button sounds a buzzer on the stick which helps the blind person to find their stick. Thus this system allows for obstacle detection as well as finding stick if misplaced by them.
